Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) Customized CVD coatings for specific requirements

Chemical vapor deposition (CVD) is a modern technology for coating surfaces with extremely thin and pure layers. This process is an essential part of modern manufacturing processes and is used in many high-tech industries, including semiconductor technology, electronics, medical technology and aerospace.

CVT uses Chemical Vapour Deposition to develop highly specialized components and coatings that can be used in the most demanding environments. The process can be used to manufacture components from pyrolytic boron nitride (PBN) or pyrolytic graphite (PG). These include crucibles, bowls, plates and rings, the dimensions and shape of which we design precisely according to our customers' wishes.

What is chemical vapor deposition?

Chemical vapor deposition works according to the “gas to solid” process. In this process, gaseous chemicals are fed into a reaction chamber where they react chemically on the surface of a substrate. This reaction leads to the deposition of a solid layer that impresses with its excellent uniformity, purity and adhesion. Chemical vapor deposition enables the coating of components with complex geometries and at the same time offers maximum precision.

Applications

CVD offers solutions for demanding industries - and impresses wherever precision and durability are required.

With CVD to your customization

All components made from pyrolytic boron nitride (PBN) or pyrolytic graphite (PG) using the chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process can be precisely machined if required. This means that individual custom-made products can also be realized with a precise fit - exactly according to the requirements of your application.

Thanks to the extreme material purity of over 99.99%, PBN components generally do not react with metals or organic substances. This chemical inertness ensures stable results and economically reliable reproducibility of your processes - ideal for use in sensitive environments.
